Project Business Model
The business model that expands and strengthens the Staika ecosystem.
The business model of the Staika project is designed for multiple revenue stream that are easy to expand with a mixed business structure which combines public and profitable businesses area. To accomplish this, the platform plans to offer a variety of products and content based on the Pay-as-You-go policy, which pays or purchases only when it is needed without the user's prior expenditure requirement, such as compulsory item purchases.
The core strategy of the Staika project business model is on a move-reward-spend-benefit strategy named as "Go-4-Benefit" (G4B). The G4B strategy is a user journey cycle strategy that moves users to go to specific locations and receive their rewards and benefits as a result of their outdoor activities within the visiting area, and encourage them to spend their rewards and benefits within local stores and community, including environmental provisioning activities.
For example, users of GAZAGO, a lifestyle activity service, will challenge on missions with requirement for performing activities in a specific location, such as the 100 Mountain Challenge, to earn their rewards. Users who accomplished challenge missions will receive their M2E reward points as well as additional benefits for the visiting location such as discount vouchers, tasting tickets and so on. As a result, users help the local economy by using these rewards/benefits in the visiting location for their meals, accommodation, and the public transport usage.
The basic revenue channels based on G4B strategy are as followings.
Commodity sales and platform usage fees Revenue generated when users use rewards and holding tokens to purchase physical and NFT products from alliances and partners. A 2-4% payment/sale fee will be charged for goods or services sold in conjunction with partners and alliances in the Platform. If users trade rare or collectable NFT items that are given as a reward for accomplishing a set of challenge missions or a reward for purchasing a physical goods of partners/alliances, a 1.5-3% platform usage fee will be charged.
Opening and operation fees for a participatory marketing campaign. This fee occurs when companies and institutions open and operate a participatory marketing campaign for platform users. This revenue is generated through individual contracts that are calculated based on the desired conditions of companies and institutions, such as the duration of the campaign, the size of the desired participants, and the results of the campaign. These campaigns could include local tours such as health promotion activities, treasure hunting, and stamp tours.
Event-type campaign participation fee This is a payment that is required for participating in a particular event-based campaign/challenge opened by companies and institutions, and the rate of revenue sharing is determined by the terms of the contract for the campaign.
A usage fee for ESG service within Social Activity Commerce It is a fee that occurs when an NGO or social enterprise sells products for fundraising purposes through the NFT Marketplace. However, it does not occur when users donate their earned rewards to NGO organizations.
A upcycling service fee This is a fee incurred when a user uses an upcycling service. Users can apply for the service with used outdoor wears and gears to repair them, improve them or even changing the purpose of the use.
This hybrid commercialization model, which combines public interest and revenue business, would makes users more active in using affiliated brands, while providing various services such as user-specific advertising and offline-linked NFT items to affiliated brands for expanding opportunities of their business growth.
